Preview Quotes Before Sending

Introduction

Before sending a Quote for digital signature or via email as an attachment, you should always preview the Quote to ensure the Template is populated accurately based on the information in the Quote Record.

How to Preview a Quote

1. Click the More button (3 dots) on the top right of the Quote Record. Select the Print Preview option. A pop-up box will open.



2. From the pop-up box, click the down arrow, then select the appropriate Template name provided by your company.



3. The Quote will appear auto-populated with fields from Quote Record. Scroll through the Quote using the vertical scroll bar to ensure all information is accurate.
  1. If information is NOT accurate, click the Cancel button, go back the the Quote Record and add/update fields as necessary, then preview the Quote again.
  2. If information is accurate, click the Cancel button and go back to the Quote Record. From here you can Send Quotes for Digital Signature  or  Send Quotes by Email .

After you select the Template, pre-determined fields on the Quote Record are auto-programmed to copy over to the Quote Template, allowing you to view the final version of the Quote before sending it. 

How to Print a Quote 

From the Preview, you can also print a hardcopy of the Quote. After making the selections below, click Print and follow the prompts.
  1. For View as, select PDF.
  2. In Layout, select US Letter.
