Preview Change Orders Before Sending

Introduction

Before sending a Change Order for digital signature or via email as an attachment, you should always preview the Change Order to ensure the Template is populated accurately based on the information in the Change Order Record.

How to Preview a Change Order 

1. Click the More button (3 dots) on the top right of the Change Order Record. Select the Print Preview option.
A pop-up box will open.



2. From the pop-up box, click the down arrow, then select the appropriate Template name provided by your company.



3. The Change Order will appear auto-populated with fields from the Change Order Record. Scroll through the Change Order using the vertical scroll bar to ensure all information is accurate.
  1. If information is NOT accurate, click the Cancel button, go back the Change Order Record and add/update fields as necessary, then preview the Change Order again.
  2. If information is accurate, click the Cancel button and go back to the Change Order Record. From here you can Send Change Orders for Digital Signature or Send Change Orders by Email.

After you select the Template, pre-determined fields on the Change Order Record are auto-programmed to copy over to the Change Order Template, allowing you to view the final version of the Change Order before sending it. 

How to Print a Change Order 

From the Preview, you can also print a hardcopy of the Change Order. After making the selections below, click Print and follow the prompts.
  1. For View as, select PDF.
  2. In Layout, select US Letter.
