Adding Inventory Items to Product Module

To leverage the inventory management system you will need to add all inventory items to the product module.  This can be done in 1 of the following 2 ways:
  1. Manually add each inventory item 1 at a time.
  2. Bulk upload all inventory items at one time.
However you add the inventory items, here are some key fields that should be populated.
  1. Product Name - Each inventory product name should start with "INV-" as this will allow for easy access of all inventory items via this prefix. 
  2. Vendor - Name of the Vendor this inventory product is purchased from.  This vendor should already be setup in the Vendor Module prior to adding the inventory product.  
  3. Unit Cost - Amount your vendor charges for this item
  4. Quantity in Stock - Count of the inventory items on hand in your warehouse.
  5. Usage Unit - Picklist with how each inventory item is counted (i.e. each, box, pack, etc.)
  6. Warehouse Location - Picklist with dedicated locations within your warehouse.
  7. Reorder Level - Indicates at what Quantity Available level should an order be placed to replenish inventory level.
  8. Target Stock Level - This is the ideal stock level used to identify how much should be reordered.
