Add Inventory Request & Reserve Items
If you require any inventory items for a Job you will need to add an Inventory Request record as soon as possible and reserve the items to ensure they are available for when you are ready to complete the installation. To reserve items you will need to add the required inventory items and respective quantities of each must be added to the Request Picklist Item entry form. Once all items needed have been added to the entry form, click the Reserve Items Needed transition, enter the details, then Save. For each inventory product included in the Request Picklist Items entry form, the respective Quantity in Demand field in the related Products record will be increased by the quantity in the entry form. This will reduce Quantity Available for each product and will assist your ordering team in ensuring you have appropriate quantities on hand for all jobs.

Automations Upon Completing Reserve Items Needed Transition
The following automations will be completed when the Reserve Items Need Transition is completed. In order to see these updates you will need to refresh the record after the transition is completed.
- For each Product in the Request Picklist Items Entry form, the Product's Quantity in Demand field will be increased by the Quantity amount.
- The Request Picklist Items entry form Ref Name field will be updated with the name prefix and row for a unique identifying reference.
