Result Meetings When No Quote Given

Introduction

If you did not provide a Contact with a Quote during your Meeting, you will need to go to the Contact to close out the Meeting and provide the reason why no Quote was provided. This article provides an overview on how to accomplish this.

Resulting Meeting When No Quote Given

There are two ways to access Contacts with no Quote given:

1a. Access the Contact by clicking on the Meeting, then clicking on the Contact Name link. 



1b. Access the Contact by selecting the Contact View - Meetings Set, then clicking on the Contact Name.



2. On the Contact, select the Close - Met No Quote Transition.



3. The Close - Met No Quote pop up box will appear. Select the No Quote Reason and Save. 



4. After completing the Transition, the Contact will successfully move to Rest state where it will reside for a default 30 days prior to it automatically moving to the Remarket State.



Set No Result After Meeting View

On the Contact module, there is a Custom View named "2a. Set No Result After Meeting", which showcases all Contacts with a meeting prior to today that still have a status of Meeting Set. This view provides management with an easy way to see all the Contact records that had a Meeting but have not been resulted. 



This view is also located on your Home Page as part of the default setup.
