Manually Add a Referral Bonus Record
Introduction
In certain scenarios, you may need to create a referral bonus record manually. To simplify this process, 1stop has incorporated an "Add Referral Bonus" button on all sales records. This article presents a step-by-step guide on how to utilize this button to add a new referral bonus record.

Steps to Adding a New Referral Bonus Record
1. On the relevant Sale record, select "Add Referral Bonus" from the dropdown list in the top right of the page.
2. A tab will open up with the new Referral Bonus record. Select the Add Bonus Type Transition.

3. Choose the appropriate Bonus Type, then Save. Note: To assist in making the correct selection, the Lead Source will be provided as well as an overview of the different bonus types per Lead Source.
4. After Saving, the Referral Bonus record will move to the To Be Completed state. See Complete a Referral Bonus Record article for instructions on completing this referral bonus record.
Info
When Completing the bonus record, the Contact Name, Employee Name or the Vendor Name will not be automatically populated so you will need to search for the name in the respective field. Only certain users with the right permissions have access to search and populate Employee Names so speak to your senior management team if you need assistance with populating an Employee Name.
