Completing the Release Order Transition
Once you officially order the product from your vendor you should complete the Release Order transition for the respective Product Order record. To assist in identifying when a product order is ready to be released and officially ordered we have added support fields in the Tracking Information that get automatically updated from the related records. These fields include:
- PO Release Category - this field is completed at the time the Job record was approved to proceed and automatically is copied to the Product Order when created. It lists when a Product Order should be released.
- Permit Status - this field is updated from the related permit records, if applicable. If there are multiple permit records this field will be updated with the earliest status stage for all permit records.
- HOA Status - this field is updated from the related HOA record, if applicable.
- Engineer Status - this field is updated from the related engineering records, if applicable. If there are multiple engineering records this field will be updated with the earliest status stage for all engineering records.
When you are ready to release the order click on the Release Order transition, complete required fields and save. The following video provides an overview on these fields and on how to complete the Release Order transition.
